Essential Worker Status & Job Safety:
Residential construction has been deemed an essential business in Alabama and not subject to shelter in place orders. The Home Builders Association of Alabama (HBAA) and local Home Builders Associations have worked diligently to ensure that construction remains an essential business in Alabama.
At Vera Home Builders, we take your safety and health seriously. Our workers are following all guidelines set forth by the CDC and other agencies with regard to COVID-19. That includes social distancing, limiting persons on the job site to 10 or less, providing alcohol-based hand sanitizers and/or washing stations, and other steps set forth in these guidelines.
We are working hard to adapt our workflow to stay productive during these trying times. The COVID- 19 pandemic is sending shocks through many industries including the construction industry. Our team is doing everything in our power to comply to the rapidly changing mandates issued by the OSHA and Construction Contractors Board for job sites and work environments.
